Bill Brandt
Widely considered the greatest British photographer of the 20th century; Bill Brandt is a central figure in the development of photographic modernism. Brandt’s wide-ranging lens was equally masterful in the fields of photojournalism, portraiture, landscape photography, and the nude. His rich, five-decade long career continues to inspire, challenge, and influence photography to this day.
Instructor Bio: A seasoned traveler and fine art photographer, Jeff Martz earned his MFA in Photography from Utah State in 1997. He has taught graduate Art History at his alma mater, and currently teaches photography at Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo, California.
