PhotoFair released this video today about using a vintage Meyer Görlitz Trioplan view camera lens (6cmx9cm) on a modern camera by mounting it to a bellows. Rod bought the bellows unit at the Portland show in September.
Happy Holidays
Although the next show is still a few months out; March 25, 2023 I figured I’d reach out an say hello. PhotoFair wishes you all a warm holiday season and prosperous New Year.
Unfortunately, I do have some sad news to report. Long time PhotoFair presenter and nationally recognized glamour photographer Bill Lemon passed away recently. He was the author of seven books on the subject of glamour portraiture and in his prime did seminars all over the country.
I knew Bill from my photography days, back in the early eighties to mid nineties. Bill had an eye for talent and an even better eye for photography. He used simple yet super effective lighting techniques and was a master of capturing ‘the moment’ that gave his models the best look.

We were honored when Bill agreed to do presentations at our show and he did them at no cost to us so we could offer them at no extra cost to our attendees. Bill was always willing to pass on some of his trade secrets to others so they could become better photographers. I learned more than a few excellent techniques from Bill’s deep well of knowledge.
Bill Lemon will be missed by many and we wish his family and friends the highest sympathies moving forward.

Great Show, Thanks!
We had a lot of new vendors at the last show and a nice crowd that took advantage of mild weather and another opportunity for great deals. Both of our special guests were well received and did a fabulous job. Many thanks to Nathan Lomas of Image Works and Pulitzer Prize winner, Kim Komenich. The next show is March 23rd, at Newark Pavilion, mark your calander now!
